My leading course started on February 28th, 2025. Since my practicum lasts two sessions, I chose to teach the first one. I collaborated with my mentor and teaching artist, Christina, on a spring-themed hands-on art class. The focus of this class was to explore seasonal imagery through crafting. The children had the opportunity to choose from several projects, including paper plate butterflies, rainbow decorations, paper vases, and three types of handmade flowers: coffee filter flowers, yarn pom poms, and cardstock tulips.
